Bam Bam
AKA: Bam, Bammy
This is Bam Bam! He is our AKC, CKC, CKC, and FCI registered Bernese Mountain Dog. Bam Bam, aka Bammy, came to us when he was eight weeks old from Poland. He is from one of the top kennels in the world. His father is one of the best up and coming champions of Europe winning champion and Grand Champion of several countries national shows. He has won many best of breeds and carries several best in show titles as well. His mother is now a Grand champion of Poland and is just beginning her showing career. Both of his parents have the highest grade awarded for hips and elbows along with being clear for both eyes, heart, VWD, and DM. They have also been tested with a new genome test that predicts the likelyhood of genetic factors that can contribute to hip dysplasia. This is much better than the current method of hip x-rays that cannot truely predict whether a dogs offspring will develop hip dysplasia but only that the adult dog is currently healthy and not affected by this. This test is currently only available in Germany and the dog being tested must be brought to the facility so there are not many out there who have had this testing done! Bammy truely has an amazing pedigree with the healthiest lines out there but that is hardly what we think makes him to special. Bam Bam is one of the most gentle and loveable dogs that we have had the pleasure of owning. He is constantly making us smile with his happy-go-lucky personality. He has never met another dog that he did not love, either male or female. He acts as though he does not have a care in the world. His greastest motivation is going from one belly rub to another. As he gets older, he gets goofier and happier. We can hardly get a picture of him without his tounge hanging out of his mouth! Bammy weighs around 120lbs. We feel very blessed to have this amazing treasure as part of our family. We look forward to seeing Bammy's first babies on the ground in 2017!!!
